S.O.D. for Horses

This product is a supplement of zinc, copper and manganese chelated to amino acids. Trace minerals are especially important in the production of the free radical scavenging enzyme superoxide dismutase (S.O.D.)

The immune system is the body's self-defense system. One type of immune response is cellular immunity, which originates with white blood cells called T-Cells.

T-Cells contain the free radical scavenging enzymes SOD (superoxide dismutase) and others. Most cellular immune responses are controlled by enzyme systems with a trace element at their core; copper and zinc are two that are important. The S.O.D. enhancing mineral supplement consisting of zinc, copper and manganese chelated to amino acids appears to aid the immune system.

Directions:

Horses: Feed one level scoop (21 grams) per 250 lbs. of body weight per day for 10 days. Do not exceed 5 scoops per day.

Feed with Dynamite or Dynamite Plus.

Humans: As a dietary supplement for increasing Copper, Zinc, Manganese, Selenium and Vitamin E intake, take one capsule daily or as directed by a health professional.
